Givingli’s referral program lets you earn rewards when friends you invite send their first gift. This article covers how the program works, who qualifies, and how to troubleshoot missing credits.
What is the referral program?
The Givingli referral program rewards you when you share Givingli with friends who haven’t used the app before (or who meet the eligibility window for returning users). After they send their first gift using your referral link, both of you may receive a reward.
How do I refer a friend?
- Open the Givingli app
- Go to Profile
- Tap Invite Friends
- Share your personal referral link through Messages, social apps, or copy/paste
What rewards can I earn?
Reward amounts vary depending on the active promotion. The offer displayed in your app is the reward you’ll receive.
Eligibility Requirements
Who qualifies as a new user?
A new user is someone who:
- Has never created a Givingli account, or
- Hasn’t completed a gift within the inactivity window listed in the promotion
Can I refer someone who already uses Givingli?
Only users who meet the promotion’s new/returning criteria qualify. Referrals outside of these rules won’t generate rewards.
Is there a limit to how many referrals I can earn rewards for?
Yes. Your app will show the current referral limit (for example: “Invite up to 50 friends”).
Using Referral Rewards
How do I know if I received a reward?
You’ll see:
- An in-app notification
- Updated balance under Profile → Givingli Cash / Rewards
- Reward automatically appear at checkout if applicable

Credits
My friend used my link, but neither of us received credits. What’s wrong?
This usually happens if:
- Your friend did not complete a qualifying gift
- Your friend didn’t meet eligibility requirements
- Your friend didn’t use your referral link
- Minimum purchase amounts weren’t met
- You reached your referral limit
My friend says they used my link but didn’t see the reward?
Ask them to confirm:
- They clicked your link on the same device they checked out on
- They did not already have an active Givingli account
- Their purchase met the requirements shown in the promotion
Can support manually add my reward if something went wrong?
Support can help if all eligibility rules were met and the system did not apply rewards correctly. You’ll need to share:
- Your email or phone number on your Givingli account
- Your friend’s email or phone number
- Date of the attempted referral

Go to Profile → Invite Friends, then tap Copy.
Does my referral link ever change?
Your link may generate a new code if you reinstall or update the app. The link shown in the Invite Friends screen is always the correct one.
Can I post my link publicly?
Yes, but rewards will only be issued for eligible new users.
